2014 Ford Explorer Caliper Covers

The new Explorer Sport for 2015, particularly in black, has minimal chrome, such as the door handles, wheels, and other trim that is now black. I wanted something to set off the wheels. Rather than replace or paint the calipers, decided on the MGP covers in red with the Ford logo. It turned out to be a good choice. Installation was easy. As with any after market item, sometimes a tweak may be necessary. After we mounted the covers, we noticed there wasn't much clearance on the bottom edge of the covers, and the wheel would actually rub. We removed the covers, bend the bottom spacer back down as far as possible, then slightly bent the top two brackets down also, at an angle, which forces the cover to hug the calipers snugly. That solved the issue and gave plenty of clearance away from the wheel. Unfortunately, I was unable to post pics here to show you how it looks, but trust me, they look great.
