Besides, the front ride height was made lower to improve the rake angle. This results in the increased airflow speed beneath the car, so air at the rear is expelled more effectively.

The 2017 McLaren 675LT features an active rear Airbrake that optimizes braking performance and increases downforce. It is 50 percent larger than that used on other models of the Super Series, but thanks to the carbon fiber construction, is lighter. In Track and Sport modes, the Airbrake delivers increased stability – it deploys when the vehicle senses that extra downforce is required. Under the acceleration on a straight line, it automatically lowers, minimizing drag and performing a similar function to the DRS in Formula 1. The interior of the model is completely focused on the driver. Clear from clutter and distraction, it offers a high level of standard equipment, retaining focus on weight reduction. The 675LT comes with two carbon fiber racing seats that provide 33 lb of weight reduction.
