With that in mind, the automaker launched a less expensive and less powerful Taycan 4S. The entry-level model is available in two power outputs, making 429 hp with a smaller 79.2 kWh battery and 482 hp with a 93.4-kWh one. On overboost, the power level tops out at 522 hp and 563 hp, respectively. Just like its siblings, the 4S offers an 800-volt fast charging system that can replenish the battery in about 20 minutes. The car is all-wheel drive, too, but uses a smaller and lighter rear motor.

The Turbo comes with 415mm rotors in the front and 365mm rotors in the rear. The Turbo S features 420mm and 410mm rotors respectively. The base model comes with a 360-mm front and 358-mm rear setup.
