The Nissan Pathfinder heads into 2022 with a total redesign that aims to up its game against modern-looking, feature-packed competitors from Toyota and Hyundai/Kia. While it doesn't sit at the top of the mid-size three-row SUV segment, the Pathfinder makes a solid choice for a family vehicle. It provides undeniable benefits such as a roomy, comfortable interior, a smooth engine, and towing capacity that is among the tops in the class. The fifth-generation Pathfinder retained the strengths of its predecessor while having fixed many of the flows. The most welcome improvement is the new 9-speed automatic transmission that replaced the much-criticized CVT. The new SUV has adopted more rugged, truck-like exterior styling, and the interior has gained the latest infotainment technology and revised accommodations. In our store, you will find the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder accessories and parts you need to further upgrade your SUV to your needs and lifestyle.
The engine and suspension design of the 2022 Pathfinder are no different from the outgoing model, while the gearbox, AWD system, and electric steering rack are new, which should help improve performance in different drive modes. Every Pathfinder is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with 284-hp and 259 lb-ft of torque, which is quite adequate for the application. Front-wheel drive is a standard setup but all-wheel drive is an option on all trim levels. The so-called “Intelligent 4WD” system can send up to half of the available torque to the rear axle and to a particular rear wheel that has more traction with the surface. The driver can select from seven modes to adapt the vehicle's performance to different terrain and weather conditions. Like before, the Pathfinder can pull a 6,000-pound trailer when equipped with parts included in a tow package.
The revamped Pathfinder got a blocky, more massive front fascia with a bigger and taller grille, flat hood, and new LED headlights with eyebrow-like running lights above them. Speaking of the interior, the aged styling of the outgoing model gave way to a modern design language that brought a premium feel. On the technology front, an 8- or 9-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration is a new feature. The top-of-the-line Platinum trim offers a 12.3-inch instrument screen and a head-up display. An extra seatbelt in the third row means the Pathfinder can now seat eight passengers. Starting this year, buyers can choose to go with the second-row captain's chairs that add comfort and convenience but reduce seating capacity to seven. Make your SUV more comfortable for everyday commutes and family travels and maintain it in top shape with our 2022 Nissan Pathfinder parts and accessories.
