Founded in Fresno, California, in the early 1980s, Belltech Suspension built their reputation on performance-oriented coil springs, shock absorbers, and drop spindles that lowered the ride height of full-size pickup trucks. The consistent high quality and cutting edge functionality of their lowering kits allowed them to expand and merge with German-based KW Suspensions in 2005.

For those interested in the best vehicle handling and performance with manual height adjustability, Belltech offers a series of three coilover lowering kits that replace factory shocks and springs. For the simplest operation, choose Variant 1 coilovers with damper settings pre-set to achieve optimum levels of sporty handling, comfort, and safety at all ride heights. Variant 2 coilovers add infinite adjustment of shock rebound damper rates to regulate vehicle pitch and roll behavior for ride comfort, and Variant 3 coilovers further add compression rate adjustability for regulation of driving dynamics.

When it comes to shock absorbers, Belltech offers great value with Nitro Drop and Street Performance lines. Both come with ½” inch spring spacers, and both are designed to perform at a number of lowered ride height configurations. The Street Performance Lift and Lowering Shock Set is biased towards more aggressive handling, and is set to work at a range of ride heights from 2 inches above to 2 inches below stock. Because Street Performance shock absorbers are biased to handle heavier loads and aggressive driving, they’re a great choice for big tires or big rims.

For those seeking a moderate amount of ride height drop without performing complex suspension redos or adjustments, Belltech offers the Drop Ball Joint kit, Drop Spindle kit, Rear Aluminum Lowering Block kit, and the Rear Shackle kit – all of which lower your vehicle 2 inches. For those seeking more than 2 inches of drop, replacement coil and leaf springs are available along with replacement hangers, 4” rear shackles, and a Flip Kit which relocates your leaf spring mounting point from above the axle to below it.

Belltech also offers alignment kits that restore front wheel camber and driveline components to proper operating angles after your vehicle is lowered. Here, you’ll find spacer blocks (Driveline Alignment Kit), spacer shims (Pinion Shim Kit), and track bar relocator brackets (Track Bar Relocater Kit) that reposition your rear axle so that it sits in proper alignment with the center transfer case and/or transmission. Recommended with 2 or more inches of ride height change, the Front End Alignment Kit restores wheels from an excessive inward tilt at the top to a more upright position for better grip, handling, and safety under any driving condition.
