Recalibrated and Relocated Mat Sensor by Breathless Racing®. Breathless Racing recalibrated and relocated MAT Sensor replaces the original MAT Sensor. 1st unplug your original MAT sensor, leave it in place. Next looses the clamps that hold the air tube to the Mass sensor and throttle body and remove the air tube. At this point locate your original sensor now look at the opposite end and opposite side you will find another area that could support a grommet and sensor. There is a section at this end that was designed to accept another MAT sensor. Drill a 7/16 hole in the center of the flat section and insert the grommet provided in the kit. Now insert the new MAT sensor into the grommet and the other end into the electrical connector. This recalibrated MAT Sensor changes the reading of your air temperature thus providing an optimum timing curve and an increase in total timing.
