The minivans of today often make comfort their number one priority and as a result they can come out a little weak. This is a problem which the Chevrolet Astro never had to deal with. It came from a time when consumers still wanted genuine power from their minivan and this is what it provided. It had a strong body on frame construction. It matched its considerable towing capabilities with a large interior that could provide seating for a large number of passengers or which could be used simply for storage.
