Rowland Wood and Clyde Beckenbach have been manufacturing top-quality, high-performance, American-made products at CSR Performance since 1989. The company’s product line consists of water pumps, cooling products, starters, accessories, transmission shields and more.
The guys have come a long way since 1989, when CSR Performance was founded in Riviera Beach, Florida. After a year of planning, designing, and engineering, Clyde and Rowland blasted into the racing scene with a line of advanced performance products, including the Pro Series Tire Gauge, the Direct Drive Billet Water Pump, and Mini High Torque Competition Starter. By 1992, CSR Performance had outgrown their original small warehouse location and relocated to a larger facility at Lake Worth, Florida, which gave them the additional space needed. Soon after the move, the company added more CNC machines to manufacture all of the products on-site.
With the business continuously growing, space soon became an issue again. Wood and Beckenbach began to discuss relocating out of Palm Beach County. The North Florida area was of interest to both of them. It did not take them long when they were ready to cut their ties with Palm Beach County and leave the big city life behind. In 1996, they purchased 40 acres and moved their operation to a rural town of McAlpin, Florida. Here they enjoy the country lifestyle combined with a state-of-the-art warehouse and office facility that meets their ever-growing manufacturing needs.
Wood and Beckenbach take pride in what they do. Being racers themselves, they have the inside knowledge and expertise necessary to lead the manufacturers in the racing industry. CSR Performance continually strives to add to its inventory new high-quality products.
