Harland Sharp starts with a selection of nine specifically designed 2024-T3511 aluminum extrusions. They are machined in-house so as to ensure that rocker arms ideally fit every time. With over five decades creating reliable parts like 1.7 roller rockers and Harland Sharp rocker arms, they are proud to say that all parts, materials, and manufacturing is done in their facilities in Ohio.

All rocker arm bodies and other steel components are machined in-house. There isn’t a single thing that they offer that has been manufactured offshore. The pins machined by Harland Sharp are larger, stronger, and knurled so as to eliminate unneeded spinning. The ground journals are always counter bored and annealed to ensure strength. The centerless ground’s end is heat treated and riveted to prevent it from backing out of its position. Harland Sharp’s hand-assembled heavy-duty roller bearings offer maximum strength and reliable wall thickness. All of these assemblies are knurled so as to attain a perfect press fit. To top it all up, they are black oxidized and heat treated for high durability and strength.
