All Rotrex™ superchargers are based on revolutionary traction drive technology, which provides ordinary gear transmissions with many advantages such as torque-on-demand, up to 250.000 rpm speed, up to 98% efficiency, compact design, affordable cost, etc. The power is provided through friction between the specific rolling bodies resulting in numerous advantages. Traction technology requires the precise fitment of every component while ensuring the transient response and emissions reduce as well. Rotrex superchargers use elastic annulus with a small pre-span, which ensure save contact between the sun shaft and the roller planet with appropriate force. The specific traction fluid ensures an increase in performance and the patented “ramp effect” provides more efficiency and durability in the transmission.
