The Mitsubishi Sigma is a variant of the Mitsubishi Galant produced by Chrysler Australia between the years 1977 and 1980. In 1980 the model was renamed the Mitsubishi Sigma. This model had five series. At first the Sigma was produced in Australia in fall 1977 and this model replaced the GD series Galant. The model was renewed in spring 1980. Then the model was released in 1982 and based on the Mitsubishi Galant built for the domestic market. The GK Series was produced from 1984 to 1985. The model was improved inside and out compared to its previous version. The GN Series of this model was offered by the company from summer 1985 till 1987.
