Active Fuel Management Disable Device by Range Technology®. The Range Active Fuel Management Disabler device keeps your vehicle in 8/6 cylinder mode 100% disabling 4 (or 3) cylinder mode, while preventing the AFM system from dropping cylinders. It is available for most GM AFM cars, SUVs, and trucks, both V6 and V8. The AFM device is the only product that will disable AFM with no need to reprogram the factory ECU. It ensures easy installation into your onboard OBD-II port.
Notes
- If your vehicle is not a daily driver, please un-install the Range device if the vehicle will sit for more than 3-4 days
- Always remove your device before visiting your automotive dealership. The technicians at the dealership will need access to the OBD-II port in order to run diagnostics on your vehicle
