CVO driveshafts and components are as good as they get. This driveshaft is compatibe with the heavy duty slip yoke eliminator kit, Atlas transfer cases and other any 131 series CV yoke. Measurements are taken center to center on the u-joint with the slip stub at the center of its travel. Measure your vehicle on the ground in the running position to get correct length.
The CVF driveshaft is compatibe with the RE1807, RE1801 slip yoke eliminator kits, and Currie Enterprises tail shaft conversion kits. Measurements are taken from flange face to center of the rear u-joint with the slip stub at the center of its travel. Measure your vehicle on the ground ln the running position to get correct length. NOTE: When installlng a SYE and CV drlveshaft, rear upper control arms or shims are needed to adjust the proper pinion angle.
When lifting your Jeep 3.5" and over Rubicon Express recommend using a SYE and CV style driveshaft. Rubicon Express have two different styles of CV driveshafts depending on the SYE you choose. The RE1860 driveshafts have an open yoke and are referred to as a CVO driveshaft that will work with HD SYE kit. The RE1898 driveshaft uses a flat flange which works on standard SYE kits and are referred to as a CVF. To find out what driveshaft you need you first need to measure your stock rear driveshaft from center of u-joint to center of u-joint and add 4" to the your stock driveshaft length when going with Rubicon Expresss HD RE1811 SYE and 5.5" to it when using Rubicon Expresss standard SYE kil. For example: lf you had a TJ with a 12" stock driveshaft and you wanted to use standard SYE you would need a RE1898 CVF driveshaft and add 5.5" to the stock dr iveshaft measurement of 12" to get a operating length of 17.5".
