Windrestrictor Sport Car Accessories

WindRestrictor

WindRestrictor was created in 2006 by Robert King Pennington, who wanted to minimize wind turbulence when driving at high speeds with his convertible top down. The brand is currently owned by King Penn Industries, Inc. (KPI) and boasts the only open-air manufacturing facility located in Dallas, Texas. He introduced a revolutionary product – a wind deflector, which became a huge success. The brand is now a registered trademark in more than 40 countries. In addition, KPI is the only GM, Ford, and Mopar licensee of wind blocking products.

Excellent engineering and meticulous attention to detail set WindRestrictor products apart, making them some of the hottest accessories. All WindRestrictor products are made for a perfect fit and require no drilling or modifications. The installation of a WindRestrictor convertible wind deflector takes minutes and mounts using the patented four-piece bracket system. Once you install a WindRestrictor wind deflector, you’ll be impressed with the way it adds to your vehicle’s look. The same technology is used to create stylish glow plates for non-convertible cars.

WindRestrictor door sills are another exciting thing that will make your vehicle stand out. They include a range of standard text options or can be ordered with an exclusive design. Moreover, each door sill can be wired to illuminate every time your doors open. Same as wind deflectors, they require no special tools and no modifications to a vehicle. Other King Penn Industries divisions include illuminated door sills and Edge Lit Art. WindRestrictor also offers floor mats, puddle lights, side marker reflectors, LED projector Halo kits, illuminated wheel rings and emblem badges, and more.

I worked for 40 years in the manufacturing industry and the forming of the sheet metal needs to include a rolled edge on the forward and aft ends. This would hind the gap created by the thickness of the adhesive. The chrome windshield frame covered I ordered had rolled edges for this purpose. You would have a perfect product if this was done.
